$\therefore(\text{a}^{\text{b}}+\text{b}^{\text{a}})^{-1}$
$=\frac{1}{\text{a}^{\text{b}}+\text{b}^{\text{a}}}$
$=\frac{1}{1^2+2^1}$
$=\frac{1}{1+2}$
$=\frac{1}{3}$
$\therefore(\text{a}^{\text{b}}+\text{b}^{\text{a}})^{-1}$
$=\frac{1}{\text{a}^{\text{b}}+\text{b}^{\text{a}}}$
$=\frac{1}{1^2+2^1}$
$=\frac{1}{1+2}$
$=\frac{1}{3}$
