The important matters (elements) such as dialogue from the Rig Veda, songs from the Sam Veda, acting from the Yajurveda and nine type of poetic sentiments from the Atharva Veda have been taken in dramaturgy.

The play gives peace to those who suffer from different woes and worries, those who are tired of doing hard labour, to those who are afflicted by sorrow and the helpless people.

The four Vedas of Sanskrit literature such as Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Sam Veda and Atharva Veda are very famous and they hold very important position. The dramaturgy is called the 5th Veda. The important parts of play such as dialogue, acting, songs and different sentiments are taken from the Vedas. Thus dramatugy has originiated from the Vedas. So, the dramaturgy is called the 5th Veda.
