Generally, the purpose of drama is to entertain people but apart from this, it preaches people. There is no work in Sanskrit literature which does not give any moral to people. The dramaturgly consists of different sentiments and stages. It is meant for those who imitate tendencies of people. It provides entertainment to one and all.

There is a story about the origin of drama or play. According to the story, gods went to Brahma and asked for the toy that would preach as well as entertain and everyone would be able to make use of it. In response to this demand of gods, Brahma gave a toy and that toy was drama. Gods gave this toy to Bharat. Bharat performed a drama for the first time with the help of his hundered sons, at the time of celebration of Indradhwaj festival. In this event of the story of the origination of drama, some important details related to drama are also given. The dramaturgly has originated from four Vedas and its six branches. In dramatrgly, dialogues from Rig Veda, songs from Samveda, acting from Yajur Veda and different type of sentiments have been taken from Atharva Veda.

Yoga means to join. The joining of the soul with the supreme being is called Yoga. According to Shrimadbhagwat Gita 'समत्वं योगः उच्यते' means being free from respect, insult, joy-misery, infatuation and envy etc. is called Yoga.
"योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्" means being expert in deeds is Yoga. Maharshi Patanjai says that 'योगश्चित्तवृत्ति निरोधः' means controlling mind is called Yoga. There are different types of Yogas, such as - Bhaktiyoga, Gyanyoga, Dhyan Yoga, Japyoga, Raj Yoga and Hath Yoga.
