Accountability is when the delegated authority holder has to provide proper explanation and follow reporting process to the top level management.

Responsibility is the duty assigned by the top level officer to the subordinates for a particular work.

Matrix organization is a modern kind of organization, which has two different types of structures. One is the simple kind of structure, which is a part of decision making process and the other is a structure solving technical problems and is called project structure. This combination results in matrix organization.

Informal organization is the formation of internal relations formed on its own, in order to provide contribution to some result achievements, formed without any formal planning.

Delegation of authority is such a kind of process in which the administrator gives a part of the powers to his sub-ordinates along with duties and the helpers, with the help of others, for the purpose of work . performance, accepts such powers consciously.

The activity conducted by the co-operation of two or more people and their co-ordination is called organizing.

Immediate tap officer is responsible for giving answer of work done by employees.

Due to decentralization of power in the business unit, co-operation and co-ordination environment is created.

The delegation of power from upper to lower level in orderly manner is known as Decentralization of Power. According to Henry Fayol, “To assign power to the superior, to enable distribution of work, and to include in decision making process is called decentralization.”

In the formal structure of organization, the place assigned to the employees is non-changeable or non-alternate.

In delegation of authority, generally power to talking decision and orders are given.

According to legal view point, power means authority to take legal action.

In business unit, according to management view point, power are to give order and also to see to it that the order are followed.

Liner organization is also known as division wise organization.

The distribution of power and responsibilities of business unit is done in straigat line from top to bottom level.

The formation, size and responsibilities of business unit determined the types of organization.

In organization division of work is done according to form, geographical area and work area.

To established the relations in the business unit, rules and control are necessary.

Monitoring, Control and Co-ordination are the fundament necessity for organization.

Between work position or divisions interrelation organization is established.

Most of the problems management arise from inefficient or incompetent organization.

According to Chester Bernard, “The activity conducted by the co-operation of two or more people and their Co-ordination is called Organizing.”

Accomplishment of object and success of task of a business units depends upon clear distribution of work between employees of a unit, division of power and responsibility and Delegation of Authority.

Informal organization structure enables industrial talks and discipline and individual fights are lessened hence this is more popular.

In order to achieve the predefined goals, the formal structure of persons and work is planned which is know as Functional Organization.

The business unit where more variety of work is seen then functional organization is most favorable.

A structure is formed in which, the special knowledge based expert are given responsibilities in the particular unit, which is called functional organization.
