(1) Template as per subject matter: The template should be selected as per the subject matter of the presentation. (2) Colour and Font: Keeping template in mind colour and font size should be selected. Back ground colour should enhance the font colour. Many a times for this contrasting colours are selected. (3) Layout of the slide : The layout of the slide should be selected as per the write up. It can be square, rectangle, circle or semicircle. (4) Clarity of Subject : The subject of the slide show should be clearly mentioned in the first slide. (5) Agenda : The second slide should present Agenda of the presentation. (6) Title of the slide: Every slide should be titled. Colour combination should be maintanied in all the slides. (7) Font size of Title: The font size of the title should be bigger than the rest of the write-up. (8) Optimum utilisation of a slide: Every slide should have a maximum of five lines and maximum seven words in each line. Points to be remembered in oral presentation : Oral Presentation generally takes place face to face. This does not mean that it is not possible for long distance or with the help of technology or gadget. Following points should be taken into consideration for both face to face and distant oral communication. (1) To Consider Psychological Capacity and Ability of Audience: Since the listeners are at the center, their mental and psychological capacity and ability should be taken into consideration in oral presentation. (2) Appropriate Time : This type of presentation can bring desired result if made at the appropriate time. For eg: For housewives afternoon time and for working people after 9 P.M. i considered appropriate time and if presentation is made during that time it will fetch best results. (3) Place of Presentation: If presentation is done at an appropriate place then it can get best results. For eg : Exhibitions/fairs, Railway Station, Bus Stand etc. (4) Considering the status and designation of listners: Since the Iistners are at the centre, whether in a group, or individually, oral presentation should be made keeping in mind their age, status and designation and choice of words can be made accordingly. (5) Logical Presentation: The arrangement of points in oral presentation should be done logically. (6) Selection of words and language: Language and words should be selected properly in such a way that presentation becomes effective. (7) Impressive voice : The voice of the oral presenter should be impressive. With the modulation of his voice he/she will be able to attract his/her listeners. (8) Stimulate feelings: Oral presentation should stimulate the feelings of the listeners, so that they are convinced. Use of idioms and proverbs should be made in the presentation.
