$(1)$ Take a small candle and measure its length with a scale.
$(2)$ Fix the candle at a suitable place and light it.
$(3)$ Let it burn for some time.
$(4)$ Now blow out the candle and measure its length again. Can the change in length of the candle be reversed? Observation : Wax is used when a candle is lit due to which the length of the candle goes on decreasing. Conclusion : The burning of a candle is an irreversible change.
