At sufficient heights, the air becomes so cool that the water droplets present in it condenses to form big drops of water. The large sized drops of water being heavy falls down as rain.

A part of the rainwater flows on the ground and the rest seeps into the ground. Most of this water becomes available to us as ground water. Open wells are fed by ground water. It is this ground water which is drawn by a handpump or a tubewell.

We use water for our daily activities, drinking, cooking, agriculture, industries, construction, animal husbandry, power plants and transportation in sea-route.

The process by which plants lose water to the atmosphere is known as transpiration.

When the rainwater gets extremely cold it solidifies to form ice. These small ice balls come down with rain and are known as hail.

On cooling clouds droplets of water form large sized drops of water, and they begin to fall as rain.

The water vapour in the air condenses to form tiny droplets of water, the collection of these droplets is known as cloud.

When we breathe out, moist air comes out. Water vapours condenses on glass and get converted into very small droplets. This droplets make the glass wet.

The bottle taken out from refrigerator is very cold. Air contains water in the form of vapours. When it comes in contact with cool water bottle, it gets condense and converts into water droplets.
