Stomata help in the exchange of gases in plants. Stomata open and close to allow the intake of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen during photosynthesis.
Turgidity - It is defined as the condition of a cell, when it is kept in water, and it absorbs water through endosmosis and finally reaches such a state that it cannot accommodate more water and it becomes fully stretched or turgid.
