cm3 The level of water in a measuring cylinder is at 12.5 ml. When a stone is lowered in it carefully, the new volume recorded is 21.0 ml. What is the volume of the stone ?

Volume of stone = V2 – V1
V = 21.0 – 12.5
V = 8.5 ml
