How can you explain the process of freezing, using kinetic theory of matter ?
Answer
View full question & answer→When the temperature of a liquid is decreased, its molecules lose energy and slow down. So, the intermolecular forces of attraction between them increase, and they come close to each other. With continued cooling $($during freezing$)$, the intermolecular spaces decrease to such an extent that the liquid changes into its solid state.
