Why do all the gametes formed in human females have an X chromosome?
Answer
Human females have the two X chromosomes called sex chromosomes as $23^{\text {rd }}$ pair of chromosome. During meiosis at the time of gamete formation, one X chromosome enters each gamete. Hence all the female gametes possess an X chromosome.
