Question 12 Marks
For an experiment in Botany, two different plants, plant $A$ and plant $B$ were grown under similar laboratory condition. Their heights were measured at the end of each week for $3$ weeks. The results are shown in the graph. During which week did Plant $B$ grow least?
Answer
From the graph, it is clear that
Growth of plant $B$ during $1^{st}$ week: $= 1 - 0 = 1\ cm$
Growth of plant $B$ during $2^{nd}$ week: $= 7 -1 = 6\ cm$
Growth of plant $B$ during $3^{rd}$ week: $= 10 -7 = 3\ cm$
Hence, plant $B$ grew the least in $1$st week i.e. $1\ cm$

Question 22 Marks
For an experiment in Botany, two different plants, plant $A$ and plant $B$ were grown under similar laboratory condition. Their heights were measured at the end of each week for $3$ weeks. The results are shown in the graph. During which week did Plant $A$ grow most?
Answer
From the graph, it is clear that
Growth of plant $A$ during $1^{st}$ week: $= 2 - 0 = 2\ cm$
Growth of plant $A$ during $2^{nd}$ week: $= 7 - 2 = 5\ cm$
Growth of plant $A$ during $3^{rd}$ week: $= 9 - 7= 2\ cm$
Hence, $A$ grew the most in its $2^{nd}$ week i.e. $5\ cm.$
