Yes, it is possible, if electron is moving prarallel to the magnetic field. That is why no force is acted upon electron by magnetic field.

Write two uses of shunt.

(i) It protects the coil of the ammeter from damage. (ii) By the use of it the current to be measured by the ammeter does not change appreciably.
