How many litres of milk can a hemispherical bowl of diameter $10.5 \ cm$ hold?
Answer
View full question & answer→Diameter $= 10.5 \ cm.$
$\therefore$ Radius $(r) =\frac{10.5} {2}$
$=5.25 \ cm$
$\therefore$ Amount of milk = ${2\over3}\pi r^3$
$={2\over3}\times{22\over7}\times(5.25)^3\ cm^3$
$= 303 \ cm^3 $
$= 0.303 \ l$
$\therefore$ Radius $(r) =\frac{10.5} {2}$
$=5.25 \ cm$
$\therefore$ Amount of milk = ${2\over3}\pi r^3$
$={2\over3}\times{22\over7}\times(5.25)^3\ cm^3$
$= 303 \ cm^3 $
$= 0.303 \ l$
