4 units to the left of 0 is −4 and 2 units to the right of −3 is −1.

All integers which are greater than −7 but less than 7

The opposite of 3

5 units to the left of −1

−6 is placed 5 units to the left of −1

∴ −111 = −111

We know that −7 is to the left of 8
∴ −7 < 8
