$ I=\frac{E}{R+r}=\frac{E}{R\left(1+\frac{r}{R}\right)} $
and terminal voltage
$V = IR$
$V =\frac{ E \times R }{ R \left(1+\frac{r}{ R }\right)}=\frac{ E }{\left(1+\frac{r}{ R }\right)}$
