Inauguration of Jeevan Rakshak Hospital

Jeevan Rakshak Hospital and Heart Institute, Dayanand Vihar, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Delhi, on Wednesday.
The 200-bed institute has been upgraded with the latest ultra modern and top-of-the-line machines, besides enhanced infrastructure to support exigencies. Addressing the gathering, the Medical Superintendent expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and facilities provided at the institute and reinforced the need for total commitment of the medical staff and the other employees towards their noble profession. Leaflets were distributed, highlighting in brief the history of the institute, facilities and the treatment available therein. The Institute has been constructed at a cost of ₹ 20.18 crore and is spread over an area
of 9,120 sq metres.
Jeevan Rakshak Hospital is expected to fulfil the needs of the residents of Dayanand Vihar and neighbouring areas. The team of doctors, however, needs to be enlarged to make all the facilities fully useable.
