For example, $HCl , CH _3 COOH$, etc.
$HCl _{( aq )} \longrightarrow H _{( aq )}^{+}+ Cl _{( aq )}^{-}$

Base: A substance that contains $OH$ group and produces hydroxide ions $\left( OH ^{-}\right)$in aqueous solution is called a base.
$NaOH _{( aq )} \longrightarrow Na _{( aq )}^{+}+ OH _{( aq )}^{-}$
