Define the term battery. How is it formed?

Answer

A battery is a device formed by connecting two or more cells together. To form a battery, the cells are placed in a cell holder so that the positive terminal of one cell is connected to the negative terminal of the next cell, and so on. A metal wire is connected to each of the two metal clips on the cell holder.
