Symptoms of social change:

There are constant changes in the social systems and the speed and magnitude of these changes vary in different societies as well as in the same society at different times.
E.g. Change comes faster in an educated society than in an uneducated society.

The process of social change is inherent in all countries and societies of the world.
Whether this society is a tribal society of small underdeveloped countries or a society of a developed nation.

E.g. Positive changes in the status and role of women in society in ancient times and in the present age.
$(3)$ Social change indicates a change in the structure:
In any society, if there is a change in the system of its social structure, then there is a change in the society.
Changes in different areas of social structure such as social norms, values, goals, status and roles indicate changes in the social structure.
E.g. From the monarchical system to the present day, the form of democratic system in India is changing.
$(4)$ Change in social change functions indicates:
Shows change in social structure in the same way as social change.
In the same way the functions of the system of society also change.
E.g. the family system changes when a child is born.
In the same way, the functioning of the state system is not limited to the safety of the citizens but also for the welfare of the citizens.
$(5)$ Social change is an automated and planned process:
Change is an innate feature of society.
So it is an automated process.
This process adapts to sustain the system.
And out of that comes the inherent change.
E.g. Due to urbanization, the social change in the values, attitudes, thoughts of people of different castes and religions coming into contact with each other is called "spontaneous change".
In the present times, human beings have brought about some social changes by intelligent, purposeful planning.
As the law sets the minimum age of marriage for boys and girls.
The purpose behind which was to stop the practice of child marriage and increase the level of education.
These changes were "planned changes."
