 Functions of Testis : 
(i) It produces spermatozoa or sperms. Sperms are produced in the seminiferous tubules of testes by the process of spermatogenesis.
(ii) Male sex hormone, testosterone is produced by leydig cells of the seminiferous tubules. Testosterone is responsible for the development of secondary male characterisitcs.
Functions of Ovary : 
(i) It produces ova by process of oogenesis.
(ii) The female sex hormone, estrogen is secreted by the glowing Greffian follicles. Estrogen is responsible for the development of secondary female characteristics.
