$1.$ Meaning Activity of sale and purchase carried out by parties residing within the boundary of the nation is internal trade. Activity of sale and purchase carried out by parties beyond the boundary nation with other countries is foreign trade.
$2.$ parties As parties belong to the same nation majority of them are known. As the parties belong to foreign countries they are not much known.
$3.$ License Mostly for internal trade license is not required for purchase and sale. Export – Import license is required for foreign trade.

$6.$ Exchange Internal trade is carried through local currency. Foreign trade requires foreign exchange (foreign currency )
