Encoding - Is a component of human communication. When we communicate, we encode (i.e. take ideas, give them meaning and put them into message forms) and send the idea through a channel.

• Composed of our primary signal system based on our senses (i.e. seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling and touching).
• Encoded message is sent to the receiver by using primary signal system.
