The pattern of response on individual makes to stimulus event that disturbs the equilibrium and exceeds a person’s ability to cope is called as stress. All the challenges problems, and difficult circumstances put us to stress. Stress is like electricity. It gives energy, increases human arousal and affects performance. However, high stress can produce unpleasant effects and cause or performance to deteriorate. Conversely, too little stress may lead us to perform slowly and less efficiently. Different stressors produce different pattern of stress reaction and different individuals have varying patterns of stress response. Our ability to meet the demands of a stressor decides it we feel stressed or not.
