Question
Explain the principle of goal setting

Answer

  • Human beings are intelligent social animals, no human behavior is purposeless i.e. there is a definite purpose behind every behavior.
  • If the activity is started for the purpose and the goal is achieved with it, then happiness and contentment prevail.
  • The person then sets a higher goal and tries to scare him. Different goals motivate a person.
  • Should be fixed.
  • The person determines the direction and activity to achieve such goals.
  • Thus, a person is given a variety of goals that are unlikely to work, and if the person decides to do so, the goal will gradually lead the person to pursue higher goals.
