Explain the terms : Secularism

Answer

Secularism means separation of state and religion. The state does not interfere in the religious matters and does not allow the religion to interfere in the matters related to state. There is no official religion of the state. The citizens are given freedom to profess, practise and propagate religion of their choice. The state does not discriminate between the citizens on the basis of religion. A state which practisen secularism is described as a secular state, luulia is a secular state.
