For $x = 2, y = 1$
$\text{L.H.S.} = 2x – 3y$
$=2(2)-3(1)$
$=4-3=1$
$=\text { R.H.S. }$
$\therefore x=2, y=1$ is a solution of $2 x-3 y=1$.
$\text{L.H.S.} = 2x – 3y$
$=2(2)-3(1)$
$=4-3=1$
$=\text { R.H.S. }$
$\therefore x=2, y=1$ is a solution of $2 x-3 y=1$.
