Give information about the archipelagos of India.

India has two archipelagos:
$(1)$ Lakshadweep Islands and
$(2 )$ Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Lakshadweep islands are located near the west coast of Kerala in Arabian Sea. These are formed of corals deposits. Andaman and Nicobar islands are situated in the south-west part of Bay of Bengal. These islands are bigger than Lakshadweep islands, and are more in number and spread over a vast area.
