The sun is also a guru. The sun absorbs the saline water of the ocean by its rays and returns it back to the earth in the form of sweet rain. The sun never uses the water for himself. Similarly, a yogi takes lots of things as alms and donation from other but he has to use it for the betterment of living beings. The word गो used in this poem creates a verbal wonder. There are many meanings of the word गो in sanskrit, such as earth, bull, arch, iron, ray, organs of senses, water, eye, animal etc. Here the word गो is used in two different senses rays and organs of senses. If we consider the sun, then the meaning of गो has to be taken as ray.
But when we use the word गो in connection with a sadhu, the meaning is organs Sadhu is also a गोपति. The sun rays mingle with the ocean and the earth but they do not keep any relationship with its vices or wickedness. In the similar manner, a sadhu's organs of senses indulge in sense objects but do not have any connection with it.
