(i) When does sickle cell anemia disease appears?

(i) When valine $\alpha$-amino acid comes in place of glutamic acid in hemoglobin, then sickle cell anemia occurs.
(ii) Thymine has a methyl group $\left( CH _3\right)$ attached to its ring structure, whereas uracil does not have this methyl group.
