Question
If $\frac{1}{a}+\frac{1}{b}=5$ and $\frac{2}{a}+\frac{2}{b}=3$ then find $\frac{a-b}{a b}$.

Answer

$\frac{1}{a}+\frac{1}{b}=5 $
$\frac{2}{a}+\frac{2}{b}=3$
Substituting equation $(i)$ and $(ii),$
$-\frac{1}{a}+\frac{1}{b}=2$
$\therefore \frac{-b+a}{a b}=2$
$\therefore \frac{a-b}{a b}=2$
