The expression of fundamental frequency is given by.

$f=\frac{v}{2 \ell}$

Substitute the values as,

$f=\frac{330}{2 \times 1}$

$=165 Hz$

Calculate the number of overtones allowed as,

$n =\frac{1000}{165}$

$=6$
