To find: $T =$ ?
Formula: $V =\frac{2 \pi r}{T}$
Solution: $V =\frac{2 \pi r}{T}$
$T =\frac{2 \pi r}{V}$
$T =\frac{2 \pi}{ V }( R +h)$
$T=2 \times \frac{3.14}{3.08} \times(6400+35780)$
$\quad$$=2 \times \frac{3.1}{3.1} \times 42180$
$\quad$$=2 \times 42.18 \times 10^3$
$\quad$$=2 \times 43 \times 10^3$
$\quad$$=86 \times 10^3 s$ or 86000 s
Also, $T =\frac{86000}{3600} hrs =23.89 hrs =23 hrs 54 mins$
$\therefore$Satellite will take 23 hrs 54 mins to complete one revolution.
