O God Indra! Give us the excellent wealth.
Explation: This statement has been taken from Rucha-6 of Sukta-11 from the Rig Veda Mandal, presented in the poetry 'वेदामृतम्'. In this Rucha, God Indra is offered prayer to provide excellent wealth and substances. God Indra is asked to provide excellent wealth which could be obtained through good deeds and good conduct, He is asked to provide good fortune and sweetness in speech which could help to live a happy life.
To live a happy and peaceful life, emphasis is given on the purity of resources which means the wealth should not be obtained through bad deeds or unfair means. The wealth should be obtained through hard work which ultimately leads to good deeds and a peaceful life. Such wealth also helps to develop closeness to the supreme being and help us for self- realisation.
Through this hymn, god is prayed to provide wealth through good deeds and hard work only which leads to a happy and peaceful life.
