Infact, a human being possesses various kind of mental tendencies.
Explanation: This line has been taken from 'किरातार्जुनीयम्' composed by the great poet Bharavi. This shloka indicates the information about Duryodhana's politics and Draupaid's mental pain due to miserable condition of the Pandavas. She compares the past and the present situation of her husband and delivers a brilliant speech.
Draupadi is annoyed due to untolerable mental tendencies of Yudhisthira. She insists Yudhisthira to fight a war against Duryodhana which is the only solution. But the miserable plight of Draupadi and the Pandavas does not have any impact upon him. Chivalry and forgiveness are important qualities of a king. But neither only chivalry nor only forgiveness helps to gain any achievement. In such critical situation, Yudhisthira is calm, so Draupadi can not understand his mental tendencies. Therefore, she expresses her irritation saying the above mentioned statement.
Here, the poet has presented the universal truth that no one can understand the depth of a human heart.
