It is a one letter mantra which reflects the form of supreme being. The three letters अ, उ and म् are the symbol of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shankar and Lord Brahma and are uttered in the begining of every Vedic mantra. The word ओम means God the saviour. It is a very holy and auspicious word which was created by Lord Brahma.
