  • $R.H.S$. of an account is known as credit side.
$(1)$ Date : The date of transaction, is shown in this column,
$(2)$ Particulars : In this column when amount is recorded on the credit side, affected debitaccount name is written. Similarly, when amount is recorded on the debit side, in particular column- affected credit account name is written.
$(3)$ Journal Folio no. (J.F.):In this column page number of journal or subsidiary book is writtenfor the effected account and in the journal or in subsidiary book, page number of an account in ledgeris recorded. (LF).
$(4)$ Amount: The amount which is shown in journal or subsidiary books for this effectedaccount, is shown in this column.
