Question
Solve the following equation : $3 a-\frac{1}{5}=\frac{a}{5}+5 \frac{2}{5}$

Answer

$\Rightarrow 3 a-\frac{a}{5}=5 \frac{2}{5}+\frac{1}{5}$
$ \Rightarrow 3 a-\frac{a}{5}=\frac{27}{5}+\frac{1}{5}$
$ \Rightarrow 3 a \times 5-\frac{a}{5} \times 5=\frac{27}{5} \times 5+\frac{1}{5} \times 5$
$.....($Multiplying each term by $5 )$
$\Rightarrow 15 a-a=27+1$
$ \Rightarrow 14 a=28$
$ \Rightarrow a=\frac{28}{14}$
$ \Rightarrow a=2$
