Right of way includes the following:
• When a 'STOP' sign is displayed on the road
→ Stop before the horizontal stop line preceding the signal 'STOP'.
→ When the stop line is not marked or visible, the vehicle must stop immediately before the 'STOP' signal.
→ Traffic on the main road must be given priority.
→ Enter the main road cautiously only when the road ahead is clear.
• When he 'Give Way' sign is displayed, the driver will slow down the vehicle, the lane he is about to enter will give priority to traffic on the same road and will move forward cautiously.
• When there is no pedestrian crossing before the 'Give Way' or 'STOP' signal, the driver will give priority to pedestrians.
• At the place close to the road (like a residential area, commercial area, etc.) the driver has to prioritize the ongoing traffic on the road before entering the road.
• Priority should be given to the vehicles going uphill on a steep or sloping road.
• When emergency vehicles such as a fire brigade vehicle or an ambulance are passing, the driver must immediately move his vehicle out of the way and give way to that vehicle to go ahead.
