Question
What are macromolecule? Give examples

Answer

From the chemical point of view, their molecular weight is high i.e. it is more than one thousand Dalton. Their solubility is low. They are formed by polymerisation of small biomolecules.
These acids are found in insoluble fraction, they are called macromolecules. Example Proteins, nucleic acids, polysaccharides and lipids.
