(i) Space vehicles used to place satellites in their specific orbits are called Satellite Launch vehicles.
(ii) The pattern of launching of a satellite is decided by the factors like mass of the satellite, altitude of the orbit etc.
(iii) Accordingly the fuel required is also decided.

(iv) The launching of a rocket is based on the Newton's third law of motion.
(v)The special type of fuel is necessary for launching vehicle. Due to ignition of fuel, a huge amount of heat is produced and the gas produced get expanded. It guses out through small outlets at the tail region which applies tremendous force. As there is equal and opposite instantaneous reaction launch vehicle get reaction force and it is launched in space.
