Decreasing the absolute poverty of the poor by providing long lasting livelihood that are secure.
Resource depletion should be minimal and utilization be optional
Human population be limited to a level within the carrying capacity of the environment.
Technological progress should be input efficient and not input consuming.
Renewable resources should be extracted on a sustainable basis. Inefficiencies which crop up from pollution should be speedily checked upon.
Rate of depletion of non-renewable resources should be lesser than the rate of their creation.
