Why do we need to separate different components of a mixture? Give two examples.

$(1)$ Sometimes, different components of a mixture are not useful or may even be harmful. So we need to separate them. e.g. husk and stones are separated from grains.
$(2)$ Sometimes the mixture may contain two or more than’ two useful components. In order to use them we need to separate them. e.g. by churning curd we get butter and buttermilk.
$(3)$ To obtain a substance in its purest form. e.g. mud is present in sesame seeds, mustard seeds and moong. By washing them, we remove mud and obtain them in the purest form.
$(4)$ To know the proportion of components in a mixture. e.g. the component other than the main one is separated and proportion of adulteration can be known.
