It's super important not to look directly at a solar eclipse because the Sun's rays are still very strong, even when it's partially covered. Staring at the sun without protection can seriously hurt your eyes and even cause blindness. Normal sunglasses aren't enough to protect you, so it's best to use special glasses or watch the eclipse indirectly to keep your eyes safe.
