Question
Will AgCl be more soluble in aqueous solution or NaCl solution and why?

Answer

In NaCl solution, the Cl- ions will increase. Since solubility product, Ksp = [Ag+][CI-] remains constant. [Ag+] will decrease. Therefore, solubility of AgCl will be less in NaCl solution than in water.
