Bromination of benzene:
$i.$ In bromination reaction, hydrogen atom of benzene is replaced by bromine atom.
$ii.$ Bromine reacts with benzene in dark in presence of iron or ferric bromide or anhydrous aluminium bromide or red phosphorus as catalyst to give bromobenzene $(C_6H_5Br).$​​​​​​​
