Festivals and celebrations bring us together because we all celebrate the festivals together, share sweets and gifts with our neighbours and friends. People meet each other, wear new clothes, laugh together, sing and dance and pray to the God. This brings joy and happiness to everyone.

Every festival has special food like,
→ On Holi, we eat gujiya, dahi bhalle and gol gappas.
→ On Lohri, we eat revri, moongfali and jaggery (ladoo).
→ On Gudi Padwa, we eat puran poli, kothimbir vadi.
→ On Pongal, people eat Pongal khichdi made up of rice, moong dal, curry leaves, etc.
→ On Eid, people eat seviyan and sheer khurma.

One can be saved in many ways during travels,
→ Never take the head and arms out of the window.
→ Always follow the speed limit and blow horn on turns.
→ Always follow the safety signboards on the road.
→ Do not stand on the gates of moving bus and train.
→ Do not eat anything given by strangers.
→ Always remember your phone numbers of your parents in case of any emergency.

The different modes of transport used during travel depend upon the distance that people want to cover or the money that they can spend. These include
→ For very short distance like 15-30 kms, we can use land transport like two wheelers, autorickshaw and even cars.
→ For short distance like 50 km we can use transport like car or bus. Q.
→ For long distance like 100 km we can use land or rail transport like car, bus or trains.
→ An For very long distance more than 400 km we can use rail network or air transport like aeroplane.

Yes, everyone celebrate festivals with a variety of special food and new clothes. For example, on the day of Christmas, people wear the Santa Claus dress and distribute gifts to the children. On the day of Durga Puja, Bengali people wear white and red traditional saree.

I saw green plants and colourful flowers like yellow, pink, orange and red. There were some small plants with spines. There was grass also which was being eaten by the herd of cows.

Yes, I have travelled in a bus. I went to Jaipur with my classmates. We ate so many snacks and shared our tiffin with our teachers. There were so many flowers, green plants and tall trees on the way. We saw Aravalli mountains in our journey. We stopped at a Dhaba for the lunch. It was a wonderful journey as we all played Antakshari in the bus.
