$\text{ABCDE}$ is the end view of a factory shed which is $50\  m$ long. The roofing of the shed consists of asbestos sheets as shown in the figure. The two ends of the shed are completely closed by brick walls.

Answer
Total area
$= 2 \times$ Area of asbestos $+ 2\ x$ Area of wall $+ 2\times (6)^{\circ}\text{AE} \times$ length
$= 500 + 2 \times 72 + 2 \times 7.5 \times 50 ...($from $a$ and $b)$
$= 500 + 144 + 750$
$= 1394\ m^2$
$\therefore$ The total surface area of the shed is $1394\ m^2.$

Answer
Volume of a cuboid $= l \times b \times h$
$-----2400 = 20 \times 15 \times h$
$----------h = 8\ cm$
Hence, height of the cuboid is $8 \ cm.$
