Meaning: Only Voluptuous can be tempted by sweet tongue but studded with lies.
Reference: This statement has been taken from 'शकुन्तला प्रत्याख्यानम्' a prose from 'अभिज्ञान शाकुन्तलम्', composed by the great poet Kalidasa. Gautami and two Rishikumars from the ashram of Kanva reach the palace of King Dushyanta. They introduce Shakuntala to Dushyanta and ask him to accept her as his wife. But due to the effect of the curse given by the sage Durvasa, the king Dushyanta strongly denies to accept her as the king does not remember anything. Then Shakuntala wishes to show him the ring given by him to remind him of their Gandharva Vivah.
But, unfortunately, the ring had fallen in the water at Sachitirth. Then she tries to remind him by describing the incident about Dirghapatra, a baby deer and the statement, "Everybody trusts the people of his own clan. spoken by the king. Then Dashyant tells her. Only volptuous can be tempted by sweet tongue but studded with lies."
Thus, the proud of power spoils their married life. So, a person should be very careful not to be proud and take proper decision after examining facts.
