Fortunately you are without any crime.
Explanation: This statement has been taken from the excerpt "अनपराद्ध अत्रभवती" of "प्रतिमानाट्कम्" composed by the great poet Bhasa. This statement is told to Kaikeyi by Bharata.
Sumantra returned from the forest with the news of Sita's kidnapping. He informed Bharata that he could not meet Rama in the forest as he was not there Hearing this, Bharata was much excited and rushed towards harem to scold Kaikeyi. He accused her that due to a bride like her, a bride of the Ishwaku dynasty has been kidnapped. Kaikeyi told Bharata about the curse inflicted upon the king Dashratha. She said that she had accepted the widowhood for the interest of the family. Bharata demanded explanation from her regarding why Rama got 14 years of exile. She further clarified that she spoke 14 years by mistake instead of 14 days. Moreover, Vasistha and Vamdeva also gave their consent for Rama's exile. Bharata said that they are the witness of three lokas. So fortunately you are without crime.
Thus, Bharata holds his mother innocent and apologizes her. Bharata finds Kaikeyi's foresightedness and intelligence in her statement.
